LEGALFLY works with tools your team already uses — including Microsoft Teams. This integration allows you to interact with LegalFly directly from within Teams, without switching between applications.
How to set up the integration
Step 1: Download the manifest file Download the LEGAFLY Teams manifest file here.
Step 2: Install the app via the Microsoft Teams Admin Center Only a Microsoft 365 administrator can install custom apps in your Teams environment. Please forward these instructions to your admin.
- Go to the Microsoft Teams Admin Center.
- In the top-right corner, click Upload new app.
- Select the manifest file you downloaded in Step 1 and confirm the upload.
Once uploaded, LEGALFLY will be available to users in your Teams environment.
Note: If you're unsure who your Microsoft 365 admin is, check with your IT department.
Step 3: Activate the Teams integration in LEGALFLY Contact the LEGALFLY team to activate the Teams integration for your organisation's account. Once activated, all users in your organisation will see Microsoft Teams as an option on the Integrations page in their LEGALFLY Settings.
Step 4: Connect your LEGALFLY account to Microsoft Teams Each user needs to complete this step individually.
- Go to Settings → Integrations in LEGALFLY.
- Click Connect next to Microsoft Teams.
- Sign in with your Microsoft account when prompted.
Your LEGALFLY account is now connected to your Microsoft account.
Step 5: Add the LEGALFLY app in Microsoft Teams Each user needs to complete this step individually.
- Open Microsoft Teams and click on Apps in the left sidebar.
- Search for LEGALFLY in the search bar.
- Select the LEGALFLY app from the results and click Add.
Open it and Click Add.
Now you can use LEGALFLY directly from within your Teams account.
How to use LEGALFLY in Teams
There are two ways to interact with LEGALFLY in Microsoft Teams: through the dedicated LEGALFLY chat, or by tagging @LEGALFLY in any channel or conversation.
Chat with LEGALFLY
Open the LEGALFLY app in Teams to access a full chat interface — just like the discovery agent in LEGALFLY. Type your question and get a response directly within Teams.
Tag LEGALFLY in any channel or chat
You can also bring LEGALFLY into an existing conversation. Simply type @LEGALFLY followed by your question in any channel or chat, and LEGALFLY will respond directly in that thread.
