LEGALFLY offers seamless integration with SharePoint, allowing you to directly access and import your SharePoint files into the platform. 

This integration streamlines your document management workflow by eliminating the need to download and re-upload files. It also connects LEGALFLY to SharePoint via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing the LEGALFLY Discovery agent to search and access your SharePoint files directly — without having to upload them into LEGALFLY first.

How to Connect Your SharePoint Account

1. Click on your name located at the bottom left of the LEGALFLY interface
2. Select "My Profile" from the dropdown menu
3. Scroll to the bottom of your profile page
4. In the Integrations section, click the "Connect" button next to SharePoint
5. Sign into your SharePoint account when prompted
6. Authorise the connection between LEGALFLY and SharePoint

Accessing SharePoint Files in LEGALFLY

Once connected, you'll be able to access your SharePoint files directly within LEGALFLY:

• Navigate to the Documents section in LEGALFLY
• You'll now see a SharePoint option in your file sources
• Select this option to browse and import files from your connected SharePoint account

Files imported from SharePoint are easily identifiable within LEGALFLY as they display the SharePoint logo next to their filename. 

 

Using SharePoint in Discovery

Once SharePoint is connected in Settings, you can also activate it within Discovery. The SharePoint MCP allows the LEGALFLY Discovery agent to access your files in SharePoint directly — without having to upload them into LEGALFLY first.

Depending on your question, the agent will search your SharePoint, find relevant documents, and share direct links to those files in its response.
